Meet the Healthy Homes Project
The project aims to better safety in your home. Much like, Marcus Tullius Cicero I believe, “The safety of the people shall be the highest law”.
The UK cannot ignore this project and its solution to bettering safety in Construction. Construction Products Regulation (CPR) is now law in all EU countries, however, the lack of desire to embrace the principle of CPR will be its downfall in the UK.
As CEO of Tratos, a cable manufacturer, I am calling upon the UK regulator to: create greater enforcement of CPR by specifying construction products should be the minimum class of performance (Cca) for all reaction to fire cable in the UK; and a robust programme of market surveillance for CPR compliance must be established to help prevent any more building disasters.
The Healthy Homes Project gives the people of Britain a voice regarding their homes by asking them to sign a petition to create safer and healthier homes in the UK.
